I started giving talks a couple of years ago, primarily to promote my novels.

Initially terrifying, I'm actually rather enjoying it now.

I have two talks:

Doctor to Author - some stories from my career as a hospital doctor and then a GP, then how I came to write my first novel

Stethoscope Secrets - what really goes on in general practice!

All my fees for speaking are donated to Breast Cancer UK. In 2019, I visited 25 groups to speak and raised over £2300.

In 2022, I've given 25 talks and raised over £2000 for Breast Cancer UK. A further 25 bookings have been taken for 2023 (already!) and one for 2024.
